Reiki is a gentle, intuitive healing practice that supports your body, mind, and spirit. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, emotional balance, or energetic support, Reiki offers a calming space to reconnect with yourself and restore harmony from within.
Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that involves the laying of hands to transfer life force energy. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning universal, and “Ki,” meaning life force energy. Reiki is believed to have originated as a Buddhist practice before being introduced to Japan in the late 1800s by Dr. Mikao Usui.
In a Reiki session, I gently place my hands on or near specific areas of your body to help channel energy where it’s needed most. This process supports relaxation, reduces stress, and promotes your body’s natural healing abilities. Reiki is non-invasive and can be used on its own or alongside traditional medical care to enhance your overall well-being.
Every Reiki session is unique, based on your needs in the moment. You’ll remain fully clothed, lying down in a comfortable position as I guide the session with intention, presence, and care. You may feel warmth, tingling, deep relaxation—or simply a quiet sense of peace. Many clients describe Reiki as deeply restorative and emotionally grounding.
